1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing this website and booking a consultation with the Consultant, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. These terms apply to all visitors, clients, and others who access or use our services.
2. Nature of Service
- Consultation, Not Emergency Care: The services provided are psychological consultations aimed at personal development and mental well-being. This is not an emergency or crisis intervention service. * Crisis Protocol: If you are experiencing a mental health emergency or contemplating self-harm, please contact your local emergency hotline (e.g., 112 in India, 911 in the USA, or 999 in the UK) or visit the nearest hospital emergency room.
3. Online Consultation Requirements (Microsoft Teams)
- Platform: All sessions are conducted via Microsoft Teams. It is the client’s responsibility to ensure the app is installed and functional.
- Privacy of Environment: The client agrees to be in a private, quiet space during the session to ensure confidentiality and the effectiveness of the consultation.
- Technical Failure: If a session is interrupted by a technical failure on the Consultant’s end, the lost time will be made up or the session rescheduled. If the failure is on the Client’s end, the session will be charged at the full rate.
4. Booking and Payment
- Currency: All fees are quoted in INR.
- International Payments: For international clients, payments must be made via Razorpay/PayPal. Any bank transfer fees or currency conversion charges are the responsibility of the client.
- Pre-payment: Sessions must be paid in full at the time of booking to secure the time slot.
5. Cancellation and Rescheduling
- 24-Hour Rule: Cancellations or requests to reschedule must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled appointment.
- Late Cancellations: Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice, or “no-shows,” will be charged the 100% full session fee.
- Late Arrival: If you arrive late to a session, the session will still end at the scheduled time to respect the next client’s appointment.
6. Recording and Intellectual Property
- Consent to Record: As outlined in our Privacy Policy, sessions are recorded for internal clinical review. By agreeing to these terms, you provide your explicit consent.
- Ownership: All materials provided by the Consultant (worksheets, recordings, or resources) are for your personal use only. Recording the session on your own device or distributing the Consultant’s materials without written permission is strictly prohibited.
7. Limitation of Liability
The Consultant provides services based on professional standards in Bangalore, India. While every effort is made to provide high-quality support, the Consultant does not guarantee specific outcomes. By using these services, you agree that the Consultant is not liable for any direct or indirect damages arising from the consultation process.
8. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
- Local Law: These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of India.
- Jurisdiction: Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Bangalore, Karnataka, India.
